Aged care home celebrates 35 years
A Woy Woy aged care home celebrated its 35th anniversary last week.
BlueWave Living was officially opened as Woy Woy Aged Care on March 15, 1989.
It started as a 40-bed nursing home, and is now home to more than 120 residents.
Coinciding with the anniversary, the home recognised the long service of several of its staff.
Three celebrated 25 years of service, two celebrated 20 years and another two 15 years.
Four staff celebrated 10 years and another four celebrated five years.
